The company was originally established in Townsville, North Queensland Australia to offer specialist services within the resource industry to provide comprehensive project management in the areas of accommodation, catering and support infrastructure design, operations and management.

Operations commenced for what was then called Asian Pacific Support Services Pty Ltd (APS). The following decade saw the development of a new corporate title (Rimcorp) and involvement in major remote resource projects throughout Australia, the Pacific Rim, South East Asia and Canada.

Today Rimcorp is recognised as the specialists within their industry, providing remote site management.

Rimcorp is based in Townsville , Qld Australia with offices in Perth and Melbourne and has representation in Port Moresby PNG, Calgary Canada and Beijing China.
